A warm welcome!
My name is Marc A. Buchholtz. I am a theologian, business coach and organisational developer. I am delighted
that you would like to find out more about me and my concept, "berufENsein"!

Curriculum Vitae

I studied Protestant theology at Philipps University in Marburg/Lahn, graduating with a diploma. My studies focused on pastoral psychology, pastoral care and education.

During my studies and for several years afterwards, working in pre-hospital emergency medicine was a defining experience for me and served as a focal point alongside my academic training. As a lecturer at an emergency services college, I developed and implemented the first teaching module designed to prepare emergency response staff for their work by addressing stress management and coping strategies. Working alongside theologians, psychologists, educators and staff from the ambulance service, fire brigade and police, a successful crisis intervention system has been established based on this work.

The second pillar of my professional career was in the financial services sector, advising members of the medical professions. Over time, the business support of medical practices and their entrepreneurial management increasingly became the focus of my work.

As a trainer and coach in banking sales, I have had the privilege of supporting staff development with regard to sustainable sales approaches, as well as initial and further training.

I aim to treat everyone with openness and respect, on an equal footing. In my view, added value arises from diversity, because the whole is greater than the sum of its parts (loosely based on Aristotle) – an attitude I have found reflected in systemic organisational development and agile mindsets.

I am familiar with the specific characteristics of the healthcare sector, the ‘private sector’ and the church environment, and these reflect the broad scope of my professional expertise.
